Summer holiday running 🏃‍♀️ 😎

I've not posted in a while. I'm not running any events and I'm not in training for anything, so I've lapsed a bit on HU. Well I'm on my hols, not with the campervan this time, but we've jetted off to Eastern Europe and making our way around by train and bus. We're travelling light with a big rucksack, but still found room for running shoes and other kit. We started our holiday running in Krakow ( top pic), there's MrSax64 posing in front of the castle, we were the only people there that early, an absolutely fab little run. Then it was a long flixbus journey to Bratislava, made even longer as we were involved in a collision (no-one hurt) and a 2 hour delay roasting in the sun. Anyway, the following morning, our run over the Danube was brilliant with a gorgeous sunrise to enjoy. There were so many other runners out too, and very friendly with it. And today, another country, another city...Budapest in Hungary. There's a brilliant park here, City Park, which boasts, among many other things, a lovely 2k running track, all beautifully cushioned underfoot. It's hugely popular, which is unsurprising really. Here's me posing in the park when we were checking it out. Hopefully, there'll be more runs along the way before we head back home. Wow-that’s an amazing view!!

So glad nobody was hurt in the bus collision-that must have been scary. It sounds like you’re on a trip of a lifetime. Enjoy!!!

Definitely a big trip, it's to celebrate my hubby's very big birthday later this year.
