Morning run, just before the heavens opened but it was dry and cool but overcast on my run. This was week 8 run 2 of my return to C25k using the app.
It all feels still quite doable, except that I took the excuse of blowing my nose halfway up the hill and at midpoint of the 28min run. But ran 5min longer due to my circular route. It feels good to be able to run continuously on my old C25k route (except for that nose blowing stop 😏).
I was running to my “Summer come back” playlist open.spotify.com/playlist/2... because I so want the summer to come back! I hadn’t had a summer holiday yet due to illness and family stuff, so feel I’ve missed out!
But so looking forward to finishing C25k, at which point I will also switch to running my winter route, which is mudproof and will get me to the last km to 5k.
Pic of my biggest apply on my only pot-bound apple tree. It had 3 huge apples this year! Autumn is here!

🍏 oh that apple looks amazing! I may turn in it into a an apple & blackberry crumble to celebrate t your run! You are within touching distance of finishing and coming out stronger than ever before. We have both missed out on Summer holidays but fortunately those wonderful seasons keep moving us forward and before we know it Summer will be back! Meantime you seem to have winter all mapped out! 💝
We haven’t had a summer really this year, and snow forecast on mountains of scotland this week . My apples not ready but a lot smaller than yours. Good for you continuing your C25K . X
My favourite time of the year... and Autumn is here earlier Summer was here, briefly and then poof, it vanished... Your apple looks beautiful!
Well done you on that run... and there will be more lovely ones to come, dry crunchy leaves, golden colours and the beauty of an Autumn morning... well, That is what I am thinking... positive thought! x
