A misty morning dawned as sleepy Newcastle roused from its slumbers. Perfect for running. I donned my trainers & set off with Hubby wishing with everything inside of me that it was for a run…. however when you can’t run you walk! Cheering on the runners that were out and about was fun. Looking up at the bridge I visualised next Sunday when hundreds of runners will be setting off on the Great North Run. If you are one of them.. the scene is set with beautiful flower boxes on the Quay, leafy corridors of trees & wild flowers on the roadside. I wish you well!
