Thanks for all the fab trail running tips, I purchased some new shoes and have started the ankle exercises and have been out a couple of times.
Itβs definitely different to running on pavements but it has its plus points, bird song so loud through some of the woodland this morning I could hear it through my headphones, stopped removed and listened. I think Iβm a lucky convert!

Thatβs great news! New shoes are always an occasion for celebration! What did you got for? Do you have a photo of them? We love shoes here π€£
Runnerβs World podcast have got a nice one this week with Susie Chan talking about how to get into trail running. I enjoyed it and you might like a listen. Iβve been meaning to find your thread and suggest it, but happily, youβve popped up here to remind me!
Thanks will have a listen !! Every route I run seems hilly but Iβm sure it will become more normal eventually !
Shoe pic attached ASICS as they are my usual runners of choice thought it would be good to stick to especially as I bought online ! My husband said to go for the pink so he could find me easily π
Ah yes!! I recently discovered them, got a super jacket and a couple of tops from them. Can't remember who recommended them, was it you? Higher State jacket?
I also use startfitness and sportpursuit, loads of good web sites out there now.
Those shoes look fab!!! Iβm salivating now. Iβm off to buy a new pair this afternoon. Going to a shop this time so I can have a good wallow. π€£π€£π€£
