Joyful run this morning

6.20am...Alarm went off...i did consider staying in bed but I was awake now so up and out!

It was a beautiful morning (unlike yesterday - glad that was a rest day!) sun was out and i took to the flats and did my 5k on the grass. Oh how i missed you grass runs and how i look forward to many more of you now the weather is hopefully changing for the better.

Took a run around the lake...the geese were out munching grass looking at me like some kind of mad woman lol. Surprisingly there was hardly anyone out this morning - not even dog walkers.

Feel excellent for having done it🙌😃 , and despite not having done a grass run for a while i took a good 1.30 min off my 5k time...not a PB yet but maybe a SB

i've decided to break down to seasons...to give some incentive as i have not managed a 5k PB since last year in June lol..at least that way i feel like i'm getting closer

it sure is cheeky ..and i don't even mind that its cold...sunny and dry and i am happy.

Oh yes, it definitely was Alison! ☀️ Beautiful sunshine and crisp air. I intended on doing 4k, but ended up doing a lovely slow 6k instead with my dog running free, having a wonderful time. 🐕🏃‍♀️
