On Sunday, I did a 20 minute run (thinking it would be simple after having run 30's to 33's for two weeks) and found it very difficult. It was a dry AM and I think the pollen in the air was pretty heavy. When I've run on dry days in areas with a lot of flowering trees, I've had a tougher time. I also noted that I was running at a faster pace. I wasn't trying to, but there it is.
Today, I went out for the 30 minute run and it was excellent! Felt good the entire time. It had rained in the night which tamped down the pollen, I think.
Look forward to my next run, 35 minutes.

hi drl212 …yes, every run is different…it’d be boring otherwise 😜 …setting off quicker and keeping a faster pace just happens sometimes & obvs makes a difference to a run…
The pollen at the moment can make breathing a bit of a struggle for some of us…I tend to stick to pounding the pavements rather than the canal when I’m like that…
So glad todays run was a good one, the rain will have def kept that pollen low..good luck with your next run, I’m sure you’ll smash it
