Good morning runners! A very happy Friday to you all, week 2 of EED February report time and I've kept things steady and short as I said I would, here's a quick breakdown of the happenings since last Friday:

Sat 5k Run new PB 26:10.

Sun 6.5k walk.01:19:50

Mon10k run 01:02:36

Tue 6.2k walk.01:23:43

Wed 5k run 30:27

Thu 6.3k walk.01:14:10

Fri 9k run 59:06

Conditions have been extra snowy, tiring and kept me cautiously slow, been listening to podcasts mostly and just enjoying the runs without worrying about times or adding up massive distances.

Exercise Every Day February is going well and not missed or had urge to miss a day yet.

Dry 2021 is amazingly still happening despite having hoards of booze in the house I'm still alcohol free since Dec 28, not finding it hard yet.

Diet... Trying to keep to the 1500 + exercise calories recommend for steady weight loss by myfitnesspal, not managed it every day but find days where I do a longer run and therefore gain more allowed more calories to eat, a lot easier to manage. The extra 1000 calories (roughly) on 10k days make the day a lot easier to handle food wise.

Work situation has been poor, maybe 3 or 4 days so far this year but looking at things picking up big time in March so not overly concerned πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ not in my control not going to stress over it.

Got to admit I'm missing posting reports regularly 🀣 format may change after February's out of the way πŸ€”.

Have a great weekend everybody πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Well done, sounds like it's going well, on all accounts, keep it going! πŸ‘I've only done 2 runs so far this month, still got this hip/groin pain, been out walking most days.

Cheers Peter πŸ‘πŸ» Oh man that's annoying but best to be safe especially with the bad weather.

Fantastic work - good job all round πŸ‘πŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘ must be great to get out and about one way or another every day - you must be really feeling the benefit now. Look forward to hearing from you again next week

Glad to see you’re keeping the team gazelle km building up - sounds like you’ve got a good exercise regime there- much too icy here still and I’m trying to keep away from the running machine as it’s giving me aches when I run back outdoors- hopefully back out there soon

It's lethal here too, went walking today and it's awful now! Nearly all turned to ice and I'm not looking forward to trying to run tomorrow... May have to give it a miss or just find a field to run around 🀣

A good week on your EEDF plan (is that a utilities company?!) And well done on your diet plan too.. Tough to stick to that, especially in winter and during lockdown, the exercise bit seems the easier option these days. I might start to document something similar to keep me going. Still no running for me (4wks today was my last run 😭) instead lots of walking, rehab, strength and physio exercises. Patience is being stretched but for once, I am sticking with the physio plan as it will (hopefully) mean I get back out there running again in a week or two all being well 🀞Good you have work planned for March..almost there..

Thank you, does sound a bit like an energy company dosnt it 🀣🀣🀣, couldn't get out yesterday just too dangerous so didn't manage the exercise everyday part πŸ₯Ί then felt miserable all day as I really needed to run! 4 weeks must be driving you nuts! I'm sure sticking to the plan will be worth while in the long run though πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
