What a beautiful day - time for a run ๐Ÿ˜Š

Fitting runs into a busy week is tricky, especially when I often feel exhausted after a busy day with the children. So this bank holiday weekend was an opportunity to fit in two runs. Amazing morning, beautiful sunshine, a little cooling breeze and dry - perfect! Lovely slow plod down my usual old railway line which has big trees providing shade. Nice to run without a jacket on and not slipping in mud ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘ Just over 6k, slow but I got out there and enjoyed it. Hopefully another run on Monday and then gradually build up ready for the HU virtual 10k.

Happy BH weekend everyone ๐Ÿ˜Š

I feel it... that ...phew... collapsible, feeling after time with the never tiring small ones!

So good that you got the runs started and I hope the weather holds for you to get a run in on Monday too!

Well done you!

Thank you OF ๐Ÿ˜Š I absolutely love the children but it is very tiring especially with admin/planning etc to do at home. However, plans are afoot for September ๐Ÿคซ ๐Ÿ‘ Watch this space ๐Ÿ˜‚

Wonderful SS! I agree, running in the sun is joyous. I know weโ€™ll be grumbling when itโ€™s too hot in (hopefully) a few weeksโ€™ time, but after the wet and grim winter weโ€™ve had, I doubt many of us donโ€™t enjoy a sunny trot. Pups too, of course! ๐Ÿ• ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฅฐ

Hi CC, yes the sunshine is definitely a mood lifter. Rather overcast here today so at the computer ๐Ÿ˜‚
