I celebrated my graduation run and other milestone runniversaries by buying a few extra cakes or chocolate ice cream swirls, I have always reported them here on the Bridge to 10K or the C25K form as well, good luck for 4th runiversary next month, if you wish celebrate 🎉 with a 🎂 cake and a glass of 🍷 wine.
Boringly, maybe, I run exactly the same 5K route that I ran in 2015; without any tech', as I did not have the tech gear I have now.... and of course... a small treat, ( running related ), is almost always in order... Anything from new socks, a new T shirt or a really extra, extra delicious breakfast!
I know the route by heart and I have to say, little has changed in the years since I graduated
It’s also my 4th runniversary in May. Decided to have a go at a marathon to celebrate, Ok it’s a month early - but I’m not going to try another in May 😛
2nd runniversary: faceplanted 1.5k into a run. Ended up in A&E. Took months to recover.
3rd runniversary (on holiday): 5.00 am - woken by torrential rain. 6.00 am - assisted husband with emergency repairs to smashed motorhome awning. Cancelled day's plans. Walked dog.
For my 4th runniversary in June I have precisely zero plans. 🙃
