Runniversary running

According to the kitchen calendar, which always tells the truth, today is my 4th runniversary so I decided to do something different from my usual mindless plod listening to music.  Dexy5 persuaded me ages ago to download the NRC app and always seems to enjoy the runs she does so off I went on a very basic Coach Cory led 20 minute trot.  Loved it!  OK, it was only 20 minutes but I decided to call it a recovery run after my 7.5km on Monday and I found myself chuckling along to some of the things he said.  And I’ll be doing more in the future as I try to get my mojo back.  And I promise I’ll post a bit more too, I’ve been very quiet on that front for a while! And to celebrate my runniversary?  A haircut this morning followed by a pepper hunt - OGR’s living the life!(And an apology to all you English scholars for starting all those sentences with ‘and’😂!).

happy run-anniversary OGRs. The use of ‘And’ at the beginning of a sentence for emphasis is fine!!! In fact more than fine it shows creative use of a Conjunction so long as it is used in moderation. Gold star from me xxx

I’m really glad you enjoyed your NRC guided run Oldgirlruns . I am sure you will enjoy the company of Coach Bennett too; that’s if Oldfloss doesn’t mind sharing him even further. I did his Funky Fartleks this morning which always gets me smiling, because he says if you smile as you run it is easier.

Hallo Al , thank you for your congratulations; I hope you’re keeping well! No I wasn’t a member of that happy little 2018 band, I spent most of that year recovering from a broken wrist and plantar fasciitis! But I’ve come to know them through Dexy5 who is a member!

Happy Runniversary OGR. NRC keeps messaging me to encourage me to run again, but since I joined my running club, I haven’t been listening to anything. Maybe I should for the last few solo runs of RED February. And happy haircut too 😊

Congratulations on your runniversary! I like the NRC app too and the coaches. I can actually remember reading a sentence starting with And in a novel and thinking oh well it makes sense now 🤣 must be ok! Then I married a dyslexic and put a dyslexic child through school and now I understand the spellings and never pass judgement. Sometimes they're not errors - just reinvented. 👌😃
