9k in the rain

hi everyone - not posted for ages but always lurking getting inspiration from you all. Just wanted to blow my own trumpet with like minded people today - I ran a 9k this morning in the rain - checking my stats, the last time I did this was 4 years ago and I ran it 9 minutes faster today! So I’m patting myself on the back🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Well done! The rain was horrendous this morning! I went out too, but much shorter at around 3.5k. Doing 9k takes some commitment when it's like this!

So maybe a 10k pb is next if you want it 😈. PBs usually triggered a “what next ?” thought with me. That led to 10 miles and then HM…and new shiny badges! We are all different of course. All about choosing what we want to do and finding the right plan to make it happen. Enjoy your success 🙂
