Late night back from London last night, with another long day tomorrow, but I woke before 7, saw the weather, and thought, "you know what, I'm gonna run anyway."
Tai chi warm up, pre-run stretches, three thin layers - pink, turquoise, and "stand back I'm in high-vis" - and away I went into the wind and rain.
A mixed classical playlist and the aim of 25 minutes ... or 30 ... or 40.
I did 45 minutes. I walked twice - yay! πββοΈπββοΈπ And still ran over 6k.
I kind of meditated, mainly on last night's play and tomorrow's show, but still contemplating, not stressing.
It was almost fun - or at least I was pleased I did it, I felt better for it ... and I was quite happy to do my post-run stretches and have a hot shower.
