Really appreciate your feedback and ideas! I am trying out the NRC app but I'm not loving it compared to the Couch25k. That said, I had a good run today. 5km in 35min, which is good for me. I'm not sure I'll do it in 30mins but having listened and thought about more, i really don't mind. I think the speed interval running will help. I tried one & really enjoyed it. Sorry not had the time to reply to each of you but I've read all your replies & appreciate them. I'm a creature of habit and enjoy the beach most of the time....I think I was feeling a bit down on myself when I write my intro šŸ˜…šŸ¤£ X

NRC is different to C25K, there are different coaches with different styles, it's good if you like someone encouraging you. Don't worry about pace, 35 minutes is good and over time may come down a bit. Mine did but not below 40 minutes which I'm ok with.

The main thing is enjoy running and be proud that you can.

šŸI so agree with Sue! Thatā€™s an excellent time for a 5k run!! Enjoy your runs and let the PBā€™s happen naturally.. they will especially if you are doing speed runs and fartleks etc! The NRC grows on you as you try out the different runs and different coaches. Have fun and well done šŸ¤©

It might grow on you. It took me a while to tune in to it but I find it really helpful now. I also love a podcast run with no run guidance at all-just chat. If NRC isnā€™t for you, thereā€™s no judgement at all here, even from the biggest Coach Bennett groupies. Weā€™re all different! The speed runs are brilliant. Enjoy!
