After some oral surgery today I’ve been advised not to run for at least 2 weeks. I’ve just got to w6r3 so will have to go back a few weeks when I get back into it. 😢. O well fingers crossed 🤞 I’ll manage a run in time for Christmas 🧑🎄🧑🎄
No running for me for 2 weeks 😭😭 - Bridge to 10K
No running for me for 2 weeks 😭😭

Rest and relax, the runs will wait
I hope that you make a speedy recovery, but in the meantime enjoy resting, I bet you don’t often do that!

The first opinions I ever sought on this forum (back in 2012!) was about progress on C25K after an enforced health break of similar length... the collective view was to carry on where I left off and not go back. Following it has served me well - what useful information can going back to an earlier week give you? (What's more you've already experienced the quirkiness of the middle of the programme and grasped its lessons)

If you can get out and walk, it will help maintain your fitness. You could walk 5k and time how long it takes. Speedy recovery!

I've had plenty of surgery in my mouth in the last 2-3 years, so I can understand how you're feeling. Take care and I wish you a safe and speedy return to running.

I had a tooth extraction a year or so ago. It wasn’t fun at all! I had to take 2 weeks off running - but when I started again, after a couple of runs I was back to where I was before. You won’t lose much fitness in two weeks. I would just repeat Week6 to ease back into it 😊
