I got these yesterday, at the Black Week sale. GoreTex and spikes. Perfect for running on icy roads đź‘Ś Maybe not top speed, but at the least I won't have to depend on the treadmill for weeks during the icy month(s). -
That's near the end of Winter, when the sun climbs higher and begins to thaw the snow - but the coldest season refuses to loosen its hold, and freezes all of it to ice during the night. So, there is a limit to how far you can go, or how fast, if at all.
Anyway, I'm safe now. Will keep running!

Lovely shoes 5KCouch, running in icy conditions even wearing the best shoes like those you still have to be careful not to fall, enjoy your runs with them.
oooh lovely! Who doesn’t love a new shoes. Ones that can keep you out running more often even better!
Ice is probably the worst thing to cope with running wise. I try and wait til later in the morning when it’s had time to thaw sufficiently to make it runnable
If it’s really icy I’d give it a miss and do some strength or yoga instead 💪🙂
