Greetings from Norway. I hiked, jogged and ran a total of 6.8 km on gravel roads through the forest tonight. Didn't meet anyone. Might be due to the weather.
It's freezing tonight. Eight degrees below zero, and so humid it felt more like 12. I have the screenshot to prove it 😀👍
I had to put on a double layer of wool, of course.

Well done to you 5K Couch on your 6.8K run through the forest in freezing conditions, - 8C is very cold to run in, just to keep you a little warm I have just noticed that the temperature where I live in Central Scotland has risen to +11C, that's due to warmer air coming up from the south, this morning at the parkrun I ran at the temperature was +6C.
It rarely gets really cold in the south-west (Bergen, Stavanger, etc.), because of the North Sea. It tends to rain a lot. A bit like the British isles. Oslo is more inland, and colder. Altitude also matters. And less sun the farther north you get. The coldest areas are bordering on Sweden to the east. As in inland and higher altitudes.
There you have it, the Norwegian climate explained. Yr.no will tell you everything you (n)ever wanted to know.
