A big congratulations to your sons best friend on completing the New York Marathon, when I saw the headline and your name I thought "Annieapple has just ran the New York City Marathon, wow", I do know some runners from one of the parkruns I go to ran it today.

🍏🤣🤣🤣🤣 Definitely no marathons for me! Maybe, maybe The Great North Run but I would run/walk it!!

Yes you could run/walk a Half Marathon, The Great North Run would be ideal, I would never run a full marathon, however, I have ran/walked three half marathons around the area where I live, but no more, from now on 10K will be my longest distance.

I’ll be there next year… it’s ballot entry (unless you go with a charity place where you fundraise) so you aren’t guaranteed to get in. I’d cross my fingers for you if you go for it!! Loads of people will be run walking and some will walk it all.

It was! I was watching a runner I know. It was fun looking at the map, picking out the famous street names we’ve heard about on stage, screen and telly 😀 The map with the moving runner icon was really good. I was in bed with a cuppa tea 😁
