Parc de la Planchette, Levallois-Perret, France

Planning to take part in a 5km race. Did a 3km run a couple of days ago and today a 5km run which extended to 7km with warm-up walking. I hope to be able to do a 5km run every other day until the race in 2 weeks time. I am really slow and had expected to do a lot more running before this race but I have been unable to do so.

🍏ça me semble bien!

What a beautiful park!

You should take a couple of rest days and hydrate well before the race so your body is ready for it.

Have you ever tried NRC training plan to run a 5K race ? Just a thought for next time!

Well done for entering a race - not quite plucked up the courage for that yet. Remember to rest too - don’t want to tire yourself for the big day
