Every December we have a local run, the ‘Pudding Run’, it used to be on the 27th but is usually a bit before Xmas.
why am I telling you now?…
Well it’s a road route round the local fell, I’ve thought it well above my fitness level, but decided this is the year…. I’ve been running a lot of hill repeats to build up leg strength.
Anyway, had a go at the route at weekend. Surprised myself, there was only one section I had to drop to a walk for. I’ve got several months before the ‘proper’ run, so hoping to have it down to a tee by then.
Sorry I’m not very photogenic, so there’s a horrible selfie of me at the top of the hill!
