A very slippy and surprising 8k

After a few difficult runs over the Christmas/new year period set off this morning determined to do a 30min run without the gremlins forcing me to stop... well don’t know if it was the Icy conditions or the lack of pressure I put on myself but before I knew it NRC was telling me that I had done 8k... having a few days with my daughter in Birmingham so also new places to run which could have also contributed, or could of been me following my nose around the Cadbury’s factory... 😋 🏃‍♀️ 🍫 Be careful out there everyone very icy underfoot... xx

Good run , an 8 km when you least expect it. That sounds good Cadbury chocolate factory , probably wont have tours. Enjoy your stay at your daughter’s.

That sounds awesome. It feels great when we dont put pressure on ourselves.I've been round Cadbury's a few times. I can feel my waist expanding at the thought 😀😀

Absolutely, I did a NRC 5k in York last week and with all my going down the wrong roads and back tracking I ended up doing 6.5!

Just wish my map reading skills were better! It was a Rungo, not nrc run.
