Landed into Germany for a 7 day trip. For lots on, starting tomorrow afternoon with a big conference, so thought id get out early. I am hesitant about running in places where I don’t know the area, so went into the park next to the hotel and did some fast walking. It was so very beautiful. I did about 2.8 miles at a pretty good pace of 14.05 min mile, so I’m happy with that all. Tomorrow, early, I might try a run now i have worked out a bit of a route. Onwards!

That sounds like a wonderful walk. I often do the same-scope out potential run routes by walking. It looks like a beautiful place! Hopefully you’ll enjoy it as a run soon too!

Welcome to Germany, Oldlady64 ! We do have parkruns here, so you might see if there's one near where you're staying. Even when the timing doesn't work out (since you might not be there on Saturday), you can use their route as an inspiration... parkrun.com.de
