New hip all done & dusted!

Hi all, I'm delighted to report that the deed was done yesterday, and all going well the aim is to get me home today. How appropriate - July 4th is now my Independence Day, and July 5th is the birthday of our wonderful NHS. I've received brilliant care from everyone & I'll always be grateful.

So very pleased to read this. Quite a journey ahead of you. I hope that all goes well and that you have folk around to support you. I have had to use crutches twice. Fractured pelvis and broken knee. I am so fond of crutches! Without them not one step possible with them movement fully possible. 😊🌸
