Thanks for the twingy knee advice!

Hi all,

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the many people who advised me to rest and recover when my knee felt a bit fragile last week.

I was on a high from running 9k and a lovely, easy feeling 5k and was so keen to try and run further or faster. Luckily I was unanimously told to rest and after 9 days I ventured out yesterday for a 5k. I wanted to set an achievable goal so I didn’t feel too gutted but I managed to do 6.5k without any trouble. knee seemed fine so fingers crossed the rest saw it off entirely.

Thanks again for the good advice!

Great to hear it is now ok !Sometimes our enthusiasm can temp us to push a little too fast too soon, then bang ! It's too late .

Well done on resting up, 🙂👍
