Right, enoughโs enough! Iโve been downright pathetic at posting of late, no idea why really, because Iโve been glued to the forum reading about everyoneโs progress, highs, lows, and overall amazingness.
I repeated C25K in Jan/Feb due to injury, and have been pottering along ever since trying to build back up which hasnโt been so easy as I get little flare ups from time to time, not really helped by being surrounded by fairly hilly countryside which I love, but the old legโs not always so keen. I managed 8k the other week but my leg really felt it afterwards, so today I was sensible and did a lovely 6.5k on the flat. I rediscovered little pockets of my area which are just lovely, and itโs absolutely glorious out today. I aimed towards a nature reserve on the other side of town, and pretty much finished up by the cathedral. Itโs going to be busy out today with families and tourists all enjoying the weather and the holiday! I took way too many photos, some of which you can see in the attached picture.
Iโve learnt the art of patience, and am very much hoping to do the HU 10k next month, itโs so nice to have something to aim for.
I hope everyone has a smashing day! ๐๐๐

Thanks so much Ian ๐. Itโs weird really, I work in the centre of town but Iโm always in a rush so donโt take much notice of my surroundings. So today was a treat!
Nice to hear from you Frenc ๐. I often read posts but rarely post myself. It takes more time and more brain power, and when things are busy I donโt quite have enough of either ๐คช๐. Itโs just good to pop in from time to time. Glad you are building things up again. On days like this, itโs just nice to be out ๐
Thanks Frizzbomb I know what you mean, I just wish I had a bit more time - for everything really! It really is nice to be out today, I agree, Iโm in spring cleaning mode so need to nip that in the bud sharpish ๐คฃ.
Such beautiful photos Frenc, stunning blues. I'm building up again too, it certainly takes more patience than I was ever gifted with..... 'tis said that tolerating frustration is a sign of maturity.....2nd childhood here.!

Well done on building back up again Mormor1 ๐. I completely understand about the frustration and tolerance! Definitely a 2nd childhood here as well some days ๐คฃ.
Lovely photos! I love a 'many photo run' it makes you happy doesn't it! You do notice more detail when you run - I drove some lanes today and decided to run them asap! I think you'll be fine for the HU 10k.
I was on the way to my friend's house, This friend does not 'get' me running at all and complains I put them to shame or calls me crazy ๐คฃ I don't talk running there at all!
