I've got the 2.5K run for JuJu's plan coming up tonight (I think I'm a bit behind everyone else as my running week starts on a Monday).

Anyway, the plan is to run intervals for the shorter runs through the plan. After looking around online, I'm thinking of doing it in lots of 400m (300 jogging, 100m fast). Hopefully it should go okay, I'm quite looking forward to giving it a go having never done them before!

If “fast” means “eyeballs out”, that might be a bit of a challenge - I can only manage 10 seconds (which regrettably doesn’t take me 100m😀).

But you’ll know by now ... 🤪

Not quite eyeballs out speed, as it was on pavement, so more of a high speed tree root/bin day steeplechase 😂. But yeah... oof!

It’s fun to do intervals for the short run. I’ve been using the JogRunSprint app with sets of 30 seconds, 20 seconds, 10

Seconds. But you can set your own intervals. It warns you through earphones of change to pace.

Ah, i didn't realise there was an app, cheers! I'll give that a go on the next short one. I did look at 30-20-10, but it looked a bit much to stick into the garmin.

Yes, I thought the same. if you carry your smartphone with you it’s much easier. It also plays over your music . Have fun. 🏃‍♂️😄

I’ve downloaded that app too Dexy5 . I’m going to give it a go tomorrow! 😀

Have fun cheeky. Really slow for the jog, 5k pace for the run, and then sprint.

What is the run jog sprint app called ? Or do you just type that in to the app store? Thanks

Yes, JogRunSprint - all one word. Have fun, but please note I take no responsibility if you go too fast ……. 😳😅

You are not alone! I did the first run on Saturday but have been work away from home this week in an unfamiliar hotel location. It's also biting cold in the morning and after work - so I may just need to be a bit late - the first run was dead easy (LOL). I also haven't done plankety plank yet - too tired after work day
