Glad that you are enjoying your short runs Ian, I am not sure if you should go straight to week 6, perhaps the runs of week 4 or the slightly shorter runs of week 5, runs 1 and 2, but if you feel you can do week 6, runs 1 and 2 that's great, good luck. π
Great run! I can see why you were tempted out-that sky is hard to resist.
Iβve been really converted to time based runs recently. Itβs so nice to know youβre out for 20 minutes (or whatever) and then back again. You can route plan more easily. You know youβll get through your whole podcast and wonβt have to stop and start another one. Most of all, Iβve found it much better for keeping an βeasy runβ mindset and enjoy just being out for a chilled out run
Enjoy the c25k reboot! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
It really is glorious out today, I donβt blame you for sneaking in a run! It definitely sounds as though youβre making strides, especially with the added 0.5k, itβs so good to hear. πππ
Beautiful blue sky! It sounds like we were both running at the same time today Instructor57 ! Well done on building back the consistency - I am trying to do the same.π
I donβt blame you getting out on a lovely day, this all sounds good and isnβt it great that we still use the ct5k programme at times when we are getting our fitness back? βΊοΈ
I used week 4 a couple of weeks back. It felt good. Iβm just getting over my calf strain and have run a couple of 5ks but Iβm now full of sinus pain and a head cold (again) I literally canβt believe it! Worst luck. π
This is excellent, and what a beautiful day too! You have built up so slowly and it has paid off...good to see you out there, feeling comfortable and confident!
It was a gorgeous dayβ¦too good to resist! I love times runsβ¦especially on βthere and backβ routes, and isnβt C25k brilliant for dipping into when itβs needed!π
Pleased you got out for a run. Nothing like a little run on a bright sunny morning!
I still can't get over the way we say things like "just" a 2km run. Three years ago, in spite if being a regular walker, I couldn't have run 200m let alone 2 km. I think we forget sometimes how beneficial at 2 km run is for both mind and body. Just far enough to get that little running buzz that we all crave β€οΈ.
Give yourself a huge pat on the back. It's the commitment of people like yourself and the other forum "officials" who are responsible for so many of us discovering this little secret!!
