Well done on your PB. I wanted to write because I am also suffering with what I assume is sciatica. I get a pain in my left buttock which occasionally shoots down my left leg. I have previously rested for several months and tried stretching and whilst it's better, the pain is still there. Really frustrating so I feel for you.
Much sympathy to you. When I had sciatica I found a stretch, I think it’s called ‘pigeon’ that seemed to really help. Of course, it no doubt depends on where the nerve is trapped or whatever is inflamed, so it won’t work for everyone in the same way,. Worth seeing if any particular stretch helps relieve that awful pain.
