Well I’ve finally managed to run for 20 minutes again. Last time I did that it was the beginning of November. I restarted C25k about 7 weeks ago and have had a few niggles on the way but today I have finally completed W 5 r3. So I’m very pleased with myself. Won’t get out to run till Tuesday now as I have the family coming for a long weekend but I’m really pleased that so far nothing seems to be hurting ( hip or heel). 🀣🀣🀣 Onwards and upwards as they say. Happy running everyone πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Happy running to you Scruff55, well done on once again completing that milestone run of week 5, you must be very pleased with yourself, remember to take runs 1 and 2 of week 6 slowly as it's back to interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒπŸΎ

Yes it does. I might just do a week of 20 minute runs before I move onto w 6.

That’s fantastic Scruff55, well done. I did run one week one on Monday and haven’t been out since! I have been to the gym though, swimming, Pilates and body pump so not too bad. I do want to get running again though. I’ll keep reading your posts and hopefully your motivation will rub off on me! Happy running πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

thanks ILR I’m sure you get going again once spring gets here. It’s sooo 🌬 windy where I am. When I went out yesterday I was nearly blown backwards so I must admit I was surprised that I managed it. The wind was a big help on the way back home though 🀣🀣🀣🀣

Thanks OMR yes onwards we go though I think I’ll do a few weeks of 20 minute runs as I don’t want to upset my hip again. 🀣🀣
