Lay in bed drinking my coffee and looking at the dog looking at me.Shall I get up and do the park run or not, shall I just take you for a walk instead as I look at molly dog.

It's raining a little I will just stay here, NO I have to make the effort it will be run 3 and my quest was to run 3 times a week.

Up I get a quick walk round the block with molly, then parka on and off I go.

Not the best of gear to put on, I will have to buy some breathable jackets with a hood, the ones I have havent got a hood so wax jacket it is.

When I got to the park I put Jo Whiley on for some encouragement week 9 again. So pleased I actually managed to run for the full 30 mins then a 5 minute walk and finished off with a little jog.

Half dead but chuffed to bits as I went through the funnel soaked through.

3rd in my age group happy with that.

Thank you Jo music on as I walked home pleased to have kicked the procrastinating into touch.

Hope to improve again next week

Happy running everyone x

Nice nice nice! And awesome! It’s amazing, isn’t it, how coming back here, chatting running, and committing to this community via the quests, keeps you doing it out there in the real world of running!

Awesome result for both doggy and you!

Breathable jackets… since starting to run ca 3 years ago I have managed to get by with layers of long- sleeve t-shirts and vests. But I have found myself also thinking of investing into a running jacket. But I cannot imagine it being as breathable and as comfortable as my layers. So have never been sure enough to try.

So I’d be interested in how your search is going!
