Potential muscle pull?

Not sure if anyone can give me some advice on this. I have what feels like a muscle pull at the very top of my leg, sometimes extending into my lower back (on one side). It comes and goes, sometimes it is bad after a run, sometimes less so. I can feel it when I am running but not so much that I am in any real discomfort.

Does this sound like it could be a muscle pull? If so how long do I need to rest it for? I really don't want to take long off running as I have just got myself back into a good routine.

Hi, it's always frustrating when something likes this crops up .But we are not medically trained and even if we were no one here could accurately diagnose this online for you .

What I can say is do not run in pain !

Take a few days off and see if it settles.

If not then an appointment with a GP or perhaps a Sports physio would be advisable.

Once you know what you are dealing with then a suitable timescale and recovery plan can be advised .

Take care

Hi SB1000 I’d agree with Instructor57 and rest up for a few days. If it’s no better then please see your GP or a sports physio. I I saw my physio after a rotten injury and he’s worked wonders for me!
