I think I'm on day 4

I wasn't sure this would happen, home from work, dinner in oven, shop, got caught in traffic, dinner well cooked when we got home so ate.Daughter worked today also, was messaging me to say she was cold and tired, dog might have to miss a day of chasing a ball round a wet field,.

I suggested a brisk walk round the industrial estate would warm her up, while thinking I'm full warm and cosy.

So we went. Her brisk walk with an eager collie is about my average running pace, we walked and ran, arrived back at the car and I left them to run to the green, along the path, get to main road, crossed at the lights, could see it was slightly downhill so went for it and she parked just as I got there, pottered round the field, throwing ball to give the dog a stretch, back at the car and home

I'm calling it a run, my legs feel like it was a run, my tummy doesn't know what happened, home, change, sit. I'm back at work tomorrow, and not finishing til 6pm so it'll be another short run, I can't wait til Tuesday because my legs are begging for a longer steady plod.

Run happy everyone or rest well.

I read a post yesterday asking about multiple photos and Instructor57 mentioned an app, so before I commented I went and got the app, then when I'd made a picture I couldn't find the post again, so here it is, thanks Ian. I went a bit mad 🤣

Your collage is cool!! You have done a bit of everything taking the dog out. Exercise is exercise no matter what.

Getting home from work at 6 after being on my feet all day caught up with me, tomorrow is another day, looks like I slept through the dog walk too

You absolutely must have needed it. Listening to your body and resting is a really commendable thing to do. I’m sure it did you more good than pushing through for a run.

I'm sure it did, it was just too long a work day but I'll be home earlier tomorrow and off Tuesday (I'm nearly 67 too)
