I graduated 10 days ago from C25K, was away on business last week and impossible to do anything except a quick swim. Was dreading it today but did 5.3 km in 40 mins and felt great... May be the rest did me good? But I still try to avoid going and have to force myself even though I know I will feel better... wanted to go at 12 noon, made this and that excuse and actually went at 15.00... Why oh WHY do I do that?

Well done on the run!
This made me laugh... it reminded me of a very old joke.
"Q. Why are you banging your head on the wall...? A. Because it is wonderful when I stop "!
You had a hectic week, and you swam . You had chance today, you were dreading it, but you ran and felt good... its a real puzzle. Do you enjoy the run while you are doing it?
I just did this week's Catch Up Corner post on C25K and it's all about time... Playing amateur psychology here, I'm wondering if it is all related to time... working hard, being pushed for time, maybe feeling there are other things that should be done?
If your answer to the question, about enjoying the run, ( not just the aftermath), is it possible to find a regular time to run, so that it becomes a habit, a welcome and enjoyable habit?
