Return to 5k!

After re starting C25K from Week 5 for the 4th time (!!) I’m back to running twice a week. I’ve lapsed several times, due to having Covid twice, moving, etc; and generally losing the will to persevere but was determined not to let the fitness I had achieved be lost.

It takes me about 34 mins to run 5k although the time doesn’t concern me . I do it to keep fit and for me it’s a huge achievement. I run twice a week because I find If I rest for 2 or 3 days between runs it lessens the likelihood of aches and pains and injury. So far, no injuries to report!🤞

Unfortunately I have another cold at the moment and haven’t run for a week but I hope to go out tomorrow morning, all being well.

The moral of the story is / keep on keeping on and don’t be hard on yourselves folks!

Congratulations on your persistence and determination 👍 It's amazing what we can achieve when we keep at it.

I hope you manage to shake off the cold, 🤞for getting out tomorrow.
