They arrived Friday and I wasn’t wearing them on the army challenge, as it was the forest floor was reasonably dry and I wouldn’t have come back with ruined shoes.
My day off and Willow has to do something else, so offhe goes at 7.30 he’ll be back at 9 with a small grand and we are going out at 10
Better get out then. kit on shoes o , light bright running jacket, didn’t need it, rememver to take a key and warm up walk, set Garmin off, music in my ears.
Oh nice, lovely, it’s like running on clouds, and I’m faster, not a lot but feel as if I could fly, so much for my short gentle run, it was fun
Got to go the little grand gas arrived but yay that was a great run

Willows always worn them, I tended towards Brooks but these were in a sale so I thought I’d give them a try, mind you, don’t tell anyone but I really didn’t need them, I’m stocking up on wants while I’m still working 😂😂😂
I have Brooks but, these were quite a bit off in the sale and I couldn’t resist, I always ran faster in Reeboks, then they all wore out and I’ve worn Brooks for over a year but I was surprised at the pace as I thought I wasn’t putting much effort in
Thats encouraging. I always have a look at others but im never sure what other brand to try. I'll definitely keep them in mind when I next look. Like you, I dont really need them at the moment, but its always good to build up your stock! 😃🏃♀️
I have a fairly neutral gait so can mix and match and most are comfy, also the furthest I run is 10k I might need another gait analysis if I ran further but it’s all I have time for at the moment, I mostly run 3k or 5k then every so often 10k
Started running in Asics…last year at new shoe time, they didn’t feel so comfy, so the shop assistant (a very knowledgeable runner, that served me the year before!) gave me Saucony and Brookes to try…Saucony felt the most comfy for me. She served me again this year…and suggested a new gait analysis as it had been 2 years. My slight over pronation had improved, so I could have had neutral shoes…but I felt more comfy with that little extra bit of support so stayed with Saucony!
I’ve been running in Brooks but wanted to try Saucony’s and they are what my sister ran in, I’m quite in awe of her because she used to get up, have a glass of water, , run 10k in around an hour and come back and have 6 oranges for breakfast, every day . she ran several marathons in her 40’s and 50’s and up and down hills,
