yay managed it with no loo stop, dont ask me how i did it🙄 The only thing i can think of is that i ran later than normal, but whatever it was it was a massive achievement for me(did go as soon as i got home tho)
The run well after the first 10 mins i wanted to stop, but i pushef on listening to Jo saying you can do it. I had pins and needles in my foot but at the end of the run to say i was chuffed would be an understatement .
Looking forward to run 2
Happy running everyone x
Ps
1k in 10 mins am i going slow enough now?

Congratulations! Another run ticked off. Well done! The first ten minutes of pretty much every run is not fun for me (have you come across the toxic ten yet?) and knowing it gets better as you run really helps.
Regarding, “is it slow enough?”, that’s impossible to answer. What’s miles too fast for me is slow enough for someone else. What’s too fast for me on one day is fine on another. Whether it’s hot, or hilly, or loads of other things can change how you feel on each run. “Slow enough” is based on your effort, not the actual pace you ran. What was your breathing like? Could you speak in full, ungasping sentences? That tells you if you were slow enough. Hope that helps!
EDIT : have you had pins and needles before? Could you have laced your trainers a bit tightly or do you think something else could be going on there?
pleased to hear whatever you did worked - don’t worry about the dash when you got home - that happens to me more often than not. Seems the key in the door has a laxative effect 🤣
