You really just made me chuckle! You’ll certainly be forced to slow down now HeavyFoot , wouldn’t want any speeding tickets. 🤣

The speed humps can be used for hill training 🤣

They might... if you were Usain Bolt!

20mph is equivalent to doing 100m in 11.2 seconds.

My top speed on a short sprint is about 10 mph.

Mine is 7 ! That’s why I’m reconciled to never doing a Parkrun in 30 mins.

If I got a ticket I'd frame it and hang it on the wall. 🤣

Obviously with it being against the law to run over 20 mph you wouldn't-and noone can prove that you couldn't!😜

Would they "book" a runner 🏃🏾 or 🚴 cyclist going faster than 20 miles a hour?, this rule is only for cars.

No, as a speedometer is not a required fitting on a pedal bicycle.

There is the offence of "wanton and furious cycling", which might be used if a cyclist is considered to be going too fast for the conditions. It's extremely rarely used.

Such as cycling fast through a pedestrian precinct in a busy town centre.

Could we introduce wanton and furious running? Call it ‘effing?
