Warmer weather

As the weather is warmer I need to get out earlier in the morning, but I like to have something like porridge before I go. I then can’t go out straightaway. Does anyone have some snack ideas that I could eat and then go out half an hour later? (Hopefully not getting a stitch!)

I like the little packs of fruit oatcakes Nairn’s do. They are wrapped in threes which is just right for me.

hi How about some overnight oats? Then you can have one or two spoonsful and the rest to look forward to when you get back :)

For longer runs, I used to have half a cup of a protein drink (pea protein with frozen blueberries, almond milk, half spoon of peanut butter) .

It’s more protein based than carbs, and works better for me.

How about half a banana?
