Started c25k in January and have done 12 parkruns since then! I recently ran 5 miles just at a gentle jog(took over an hour)to try and improve my stamina but I find it painful just below my left knee when I run longer distances! Did anyone else find this and does it get better over time?

Knee problems are very common for new runners, I used to get a few knee issues once I was around 7 or 8k on a run .What helped me a lot was the knee strengthening exercises referred to in the program guide.
healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
Then later I found the squat exercises in James Dunne 30 day challenge also helped .
