Global Running Day so it would have been rude not to get out there, wouldn't it?

Just a very gentle 5km along yet more different paths through fields and country roads. Tried another new route, a lovely flat mud path next to some crops. Lovely that is apart from the huge holes, I suspect badgers were responsible.

On the way back we went along the narrow path through the oat field. Mr Yes said 'try running with your hands out, touching the tops of the plants'. Wow, all soft and tickly, I could reach it on both sides!

As we returned to the road I mentioned that a Dunkirk Little Ship that's being restored locally was supposed to come down the High Street later. We turned a corner - there it was!

NRC is playing up a bit on distance as I knew I'd done 5km by now so I stopped it after the boat had gone past (should've done it as soon as I saw the boat because I knew I'd stand and watch). According to NRC it was only 4.97 km but I know what I did ;)
