Getting back post Covid

After a dose of the dreaded lurgy when I felt quite poorly but very tired, I am now over it and tested negative on Sunday. So after a break of 3 weeks, I went out on Monday for an exploratory run of 10 minutes running, and two five minutes warm-ups/downs. Before Covid, I was doing 8km three days a week.

Pleased to say that the run was fine and today I’ve done my second run of 10 minutes for the week. Doing 1.7km an outing.

When I had Covid and I only walked around the garden, I used to feel drained after five minutes. Now, after the run, stretches, shower and fresh coffee, I feel just fine. So another 10 minutes on Friday and then next week, I’ll up the time to 12 minutes three times a week and build up gradually. Garden looks great after the rain last night.

Indeed it does! Garden looks lovely!

And well done for being patient with your body after Covid! It took me also quite a few weeks to get completely back where I was pre-Covid!

Lovely garden, covid knocks people flat and it takes time to build up again and you are doing just that
