Completed c25k last year but has taken 6 months to master slow running but this morning it all seemed to come together. Started out hoping to use Fitbit but I seem to have a non-touch sensitive finger & could not get past exercise, have to get a Garmin I think. Plodded on very slow & managed to continue for for 90 minutes to 9.7k without stopping, averaged 9.36min per k. Disappointed I missed the 10k but couldn't see Strava on my phone screen in the sunlight, perhaps next week.

Thanks to everyone on here, your posts are so encouraging.

Slow is good! And for me, my 10k runs (before I landed in the IC) were delicious!

And there will always be runners slower than you! (I am one of them! )

I love slow running, not that I have a choice but once I stopped beating myself up I'm just glad to achieve the distance.

Slow is perfect and feels so good, well done and it’s way faster than me at that distance

I seem to be one of many, glad about that. I joined the local running club last year but generally they are a bit fast especially as they start with a slow jog to warm up, which equates to my fast pace!
