Even though I have completed a couple of 10k runs in last two weeks, I will officially complete the JJMP next week. I am using week 7 & 8 as the consolidation runs.
I am eyeing 15k now and I would like some suggestions on the best way to go about it.
This morning, I got a Garmin as a surprise Mother's day present. A few weeks ago I was looking at some entry levels Garmins and then parked the idea as I really didnt need it when I had a phone.
Loved the surprise, put it on and went for a short run to try it out. Need to explore it a bit. Famz showing so much faith in me, now I cannot discontinue running 😁

Great suprise mother's Day present for you 😁👍There are many ways to increase your distance beyond 10k
You could carry on mixing your runs similar to jjmp by running a steady 5k, then a quicker shorter run of intervals perhaps or a Fartlek run and you could gradually increase the distance on your longer run but try and stay around the 10% rule to avoid injury .
Or there are several other plans you could use like the NRC HM Plan (which happens to have a 15k run midway through the plan)
Or just do a Google search for HM plans .
You don't need to stop at 15k but you course could if you wanted
Well done me_time. I've just finished the magic plan too and I'm hoping to build up to hm. The most I got to was 16k last summer. I'm increasing by a k every 3Rd run.. So 11k was early this morning. I've also signed up on a garmin hm which is 13 weeks I think. Starting tomorrow. Perhaps I'll meet you along the way!
