French running over Easter

Have come to Burgundy for a break. It is now warm enough to do my three runs of 7km each at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Luckily, the narrow roads are mostly traffic-free and there are some lovely views of the countryside.

Have attached some photos not taken as I run as doing so interferes with my running app. Well, back to York in May after 5 weeks. I’m very lucky!

Edit: it only lets me post one photo. So unless there’s a way to post more, that’s it.

We camped by a ruined watermill in Montreuil in 1990 for a November halfterm...... It poured with rain so much h that the river flooded the lowerlevels of the camp site....luckily we were up a level. I love those walled cities.

Thank you. Yes, it is gorgeous especially when the sun’s been shining as it has for most of this week. Very quiet little lanes almost no cars and plenty of wildlife. Hoopoes, red squirrels, blackbirds, redstarts, swallows, and even had a nightingale singing but couldn’t quite locate it.

Ah lucky you! It looks idyllic 😊, and well done on those runs. You can download an app called PicCollage which lets you slot more than one photo into a sort of picture frame, then you post that as your photo. Mine all end up looking the same though!
