Hi everyone, thought it was about time I contributed a post. It’s that time of the year again when these glowing bushes do their amazing thing. The scent coming from them is like coconut Ambre Solaire !🤣 Not great for my hay fever though! So lucky to live on this beautiful South Coast, it’s certainly got me trough the last 2 years. Just the usual 5k plod for me today. Happy running all🏃‍♀️🐢🏃‍♀️🐢

Yay, well done on that 5k 😃 That is a gorgeous route! But like you, I would struggle with my hayfever, this year seems to be particularly bad! 🤧

Loving those photos. What a great day to be out. My hay fever has also kicked off with a vengeance so you have my sympathies. It’s the big downside of all the pretty flowers being out!

Beautiful photos TTG! I love gorse as well, it always looks so cheerful, despite the prickles! Well done on the 5k plod - that’s my gait as well and as long as it gets me round, I can live with it! Happy plodding!

Thanks OGR, I’ve just read your post,, congrats for completing 2nd time around, great achievement for you. I’m trying to extend runs again, managed 10k end Oct last year, but comfortable with 5k-7k at moment. Happy running 😊

Thanks TTG, I’ll be trying to extend my runs as well - we’ll see how it goes! I don’t think you’re too far from me so I might have to come and explore your route sometime,

It looks lovely!

Thanks CBDB, These were taken on walk back, some of gorse pathways you’d have to watch your footing, as prickly, sandy, gravel 😊

Fabulous post and photos, TTG. So it’s not just me who think gorse smells of coconut! 👍🤗
