Yesterday was my 50th run since wk1 run 1 of C25K. Having done 48 with a pair of Walmart trainers I've finally splashed out on a pair of proper running shoes (at $200, the most expensive pair of shoes I've ever bought in my 55 years!).

The new me continues to amaze the old me, as I still can't wait for the opportunity for the next run. Now Spring is round the corner - and I'm really looking forward to what I can achieve this year in my new shoes!

Oooh new shoes! Always a treat 😍 Any chance of a photo? We love seeing new shoes here.

Well done for the 50th run! That’s brilliant.

I wish you and your new shoes many miles of joyful running together 🙂
