Thank you for leading the January Quest Imc50 I have acheived two badges on Strava this month, Yoga and walking ones.Yet to get back into running, but maybe Floss will nudge me back into taking the time to run (she has done before βΊ)π€
Oh, lots of knitting has been completed which I enjoy....
Well done fellow Questers we got through the month.πxxx
Way back I think my Quest was to do what I could and run when I could ( at least once a week), I think I managed that, but like nowster , I would like to take it as RED that I succeeded, albeit much slower and not as far as he travelled!Thank you for hosting the Quest and I apologise for not checking in ! x
Congratulations on acheiving RED January Floss, you committed to it and worked strength and activity into every day with runs when it was safe to do so.
Looking forward to some February questing with you leading the wayππxxx
Thanks for hosting the quest brilliantly! I missed the last one I think but am doing ok. Iβve felt my feet are finally getting better really quickly now, so not long before Iβm out there again!
(Still rowing and doing yoga almost daily, though)
Well, that made a nice change: I do believe my Quest was not just worthwhile in itself but successful.
1) Nice deep bath
2) A run with my new bone conduction headphones. More than one! Really helpful - a lot going on in my head at the moment that needs to be chased out with Gardener's Question Time and the like.
3) Reacquainted with personal yoga practice... well I did one!
4) Definitely explored the '30 different types of fruit/veg/nuts/herbs/spices' a week (if you don't require any particular volume)
5) Prepared for my runniversary - more runs than I committed to in the Quest, at least dressing for a potential run more often, and I have ordered new shoes (Freet Feldom) which should arrive on the day.
Many thanks for all the vital encouraging posts Hidden !
Well done on your successful month of Questing GoogleMeπHope the new shoes are a good fit ready for your Runniversary run... Good luck and well done going running in the cold.
Thanks so much, Hidden , for hosting our many quests and helping us stay accountable. π Well done, everyone. Weβve certainly seen in 2022 with collective style! π«π₯I achieved my aims: improved knee strength with regular yoga and physio exercises; segued back into my NRC training plan (aiming as far as 10 miles); reached my first 10 miles/16k (in fact, I ran it again a few days ago to prove to myself it wasnβt just a dream, and to explore another new route).
You did it all yourself GailXrunning You're well on the way to great distances, brilliant, don't overdue stuff and run safe ππππ
Thanks for hosting us Hidden ππΌπ. My January was a mixed success, with running progressing well, despite the ankle glitch. Yoga though proved a bit of a non-starter, so Iβm moving Adrieneβs MOVE to February instead!

Great January Hidden a fab mix watch that ankle in February πͺ
I think I will join nowster and say that my January RED quest was well and truly done ! 155km in the month, not a bad start to the year, but a long way behind nowster.
Thanks for hosting the January quests Ian. Unfortunately I injured myself doing weights 2 weeks ago and have been unable to do any exercise at all for the last 9 days, not even YWA. I pulled a muscle in my back but it is gradually getting better so hope to get back to running in a week or so! π§ I was doing russian twists too quickly, trying to keep up with the instructor in the video whereas I should have gone at my own pace. Lesson learned! Once I'm back to full fitness I will commit to some February quests! Thanks for keeping us accountable.
