Well done such a massive achievement please keep smiling.

I found I run longer and better when I’m not doing my usual route, I’m not aware of the distance and find it keeps my brain ticking over rather than counting down the miles.

I set a morning to go and run and see how I get on and a few weeks back before I knew it it was a 21 km. The one and only time I did that was a half marathon event 8 years ago and have never even tried to get close to that since I began to run this year I’m a 10km gal but need to increase miles per week for an event next year.

I do get why we push ourselves we are human and that’s what we do and when we are feeling it’s hard it’s because it is and we are pushing ourself.

I try to remember why I’m running and breathe in and think how lucky I am to be out doing it and enjoying fresh air and my surroundings.

Keep going and listen to your body it’s very clever 😉
