I can wear the new shoes I accidentally just bought!
Was given a £30 voucher from an online shop called ‘wiggle’ seems to sell mainly cycling stuff, and a bit of running gear. Hmm what can I spend it on? Oh, certain colours of ASICS gel-kayano shoes have a big Black Friday reduction.
Well it’s a no brainer, but my current Mizuno’s are still only half worn.
It’s going to kill me waiting, going to have to increase the mileage to wear them out quicker 😂

Giggle! I have two pairs of my current shoe style waiting in the wings.
My current ones have got about 600km left on them, which is probably about 3-4 months at the mileage I'm currently clocking up weekly.
Maybe you can rotate the new and old shoes? There is a school of thought that switching between shoes helps the shoes last longer and also avoid injury.
I agree with that.
More so, I can’t think of a reason not to. I mean, what if the new ones are no good? There’ll be a period of having no decent shoes! 🙂
Yes, I’d read the same thing so will now be alternating between Brooks GTS 21 and my new ASICS Kayano 28s.
