I wasnt sure if my aching old knees would make it, the first 2k they were hurting.
Perhaps I did to many leg exercises at the gym the day before but hey ho no pain no gain.
I've been stuck at 6k for the past 2 weeks so determination kicked in this morning, get it done before the rain comes says I.
Told my body now listen here no joggers trots behave we are going to do this, so a quick walk round the park with molly back home and off I go.
Not the quickest but feeling so chuffed it took my mind off all the stress we are going through at the moment.
I never knew buying and selling a property could be so stressful too many new laws now.
So happy I found C25K
Happy running everyone

Very well done on your 7k 👍Great to see you are achieving your goals!
I wouldn't however go along with the ' No pain, no gain ' brigade .
That's a little outdated .
We would always advise not running with pain .
Pleased you got through without the joggers trots and your right to be chuffed with it , good progress, well done 😁👍

The creator of C25K's philosophy is "No pain, no pain" and I totally agree with that.

Well done! It was probably the exercises the day before that caused the pain but keep an eye on it and stretch regularly to help with tightness.
Moving house is very stressful so give yourself lots of TLC if you can 😍

Thank you for your reply. It is stressful but the main stress is coping with my husband 😁

Well done you!! Isn't it great to impress yourself? Just goes to show that when you put your mind to something you are unstoppable and invincible. Just make sure you give those knees a rest now

Well done doggytail, it's such a good feeling seeing the whole numbers go up however incrementally. I'm a believer in the No pain No gain....but recovery comes quicker with fitness.
