Birthday run 🧁

Today I officially become a state pensioner so am deciding whether to go for a Lamborghini or Reliant Robin.

What better than to try a new run which I’d done bits of in old, happy dog walking days and also during that ruddy awful 10km race five weeks ago.

I took it easy and enjoyed a crisp early morning. Wonderful. The last kilometre involved a 60m climb, some of it on a stony track.

All in all, fabulous. And I’ve got all my own teeth. Somewhere.

Not at all HF, many happy a day spent bouncing around in the back of my brother-in-law-to-be’s Robin van on the way down to Cornwall a gazillion years ago! But I was a lot younger then!

On the subject of 10K runs, I have just run my 19th 10K, not a PB but I am reasonably happy with my 1:11:35 time this morning, I can assure you that you will NOT come last the next time you run a 10K race. 😊 🏃🏾

Yes, it's a real bugger. Nearly 2 weeks now. Grrr... I suppose on the plus side I've got time to do some more knitting, but I'm itching to try my new shoes & hi-vis! That looks like a nice route you have there.

Congratulations, for being around long enough to qualify for a pension! 😗You're probay well suited to a Robin, when you get tired of crawling along in it you can just park it up and run the rest of the way!
